Every week at That Neighborhood Church, something incredible happens.

Children gain confidence because someone sat down and read with them. Families feel welcomed because someone prepared a meal or greeted them with a smile. Our campus becomes a place of hope because someone gave their Saturday to paint, clean, plant flowers, or fix what was broken.

Most of these moments will never make headlines. They happen because ordinary people simply say, "I'm willing."

Serving doesn't just change our neighborhood—it changes us. As we invest our time and gifts into others, we experience the joy of being part of something bigger than ourselves. Maybe you've been waiting for the "right time" to get involved. Maybe you've wondered if you have anything to offer. The answer is yes. God has uniquely gifted each of us, and our church is stronger when everyone has the opportunity to use those gifts.

Whether you can serve every week or just a few times a year, there is a place for you at That Neighborhood Church.

Kid’s Church Volunteers

Share the Love of Jesus with the Next Generation

Children learn best when they experience God's love through caring adults. Help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can grow in their faith.

You'll Help By:

  • Assisting with lessons and activities

  • Building relationships with children

  • Helping create a welcoming environment

Time Commitment: Thursday 6:30-8:00pm

Beautification Team

Help Create a Place of Hope

Clean, attractive, and welcoming spaces communicate dignity and care. Your efforts help create an environment where ministry can thrive.

You'll Help By:

  • Landscaping and gardening

  • Painting and repairs

  • Seasonal projects

Time Commitment: Monthly projects and special workdays

Reading Coach

Help a Child Discover Confidence

Many of our students need a caring adult who will encourage them, listen to them, and help them succeed in school. Your investment can help a child grow academically and spiritually.

You'll Help By:

  • Reading one-on-one with students

  • Assisting with homework

  • Building positive relationships

Time Commitment: Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:00–6:00 PM (Sept - April)
