The 04 After School Center is a valuable resource for the children of our neighborhood. Did you know that providing a safe environment after school keeps students safe?

We welcome many men and women from the Volunteers of America re-entry program—individuals courageously rebuilding their lives after incarceration. For many, walking into a church again is overwhelming, weighed down by guilt or a sense of not belonging. But week after week, we’ve watched those barriers fade as they experience a community that sees, values, and walks with them. Our partnership with V.O.A. continues to grow, and we’re excited to launch an in-house Bible study in January 2026. Hope is rising, and we’re grateful to be part of their journey.
After School Program
The graduation rate for our community is less than 60%. and 93.4% of those who do graduate from Woodward HS are NOT life ready. Our after school program will incorporate a Jesus-centered environment with proven strategies to transform the lives of students in generational poverty.
